If anything this is just even more validation that I need to work more on full-background cg shit like this. Something to work on over winter break, for sure. Not really happy with this at all.
Part of my illustration final! We had to create a band with a distinctive sound, design the members, and make up a backstory for them!
Facial Composite has a chiptune pop kind of sound. Alexandra composes the underlying music, and Llona writes and sings the vocals on top. They live in an alternate future universe where the planet is so disgusting and polluted most children are born with birth defects and health complications. Llona is legally blind and Alexandra has severe allergies, hence the mask! They started the band pretty casually at first, but as their audience grew, Llona’s lyrics started to take on a more controversial edge. As their popularity grows, they’ll have to be careful under the government’s watchful eye, lest they take action into their own hands.
